“Analyses pour le bac” page of the new site on a MacBook Pro

Context

A French and philosophy teacher hosted her courses on WordPress and struggled with its complexity. Her pages stacked large headings on long blocks of text, under a navigation bar crowded with too many pages. Reading was hard work, and the site needed a complete redesign.

Approach

We moved the site from WordPress to Webflow and rebuilt it around its content. Every resource now sits under a topic: French as a foreign language, philosophy, baccalaureate text analyses, toolbox. The navigation bar was simplified, and a new visual identity with illustrations makes the pages easier to read. Lessons are managed in the Webflow CMS.

What we built

  • New visual identity, with illustrations
  • Teaching content reorganised by topic
  • Simplified navigation bar
  • “Analyses pour le bac” page with a table of contents by author
  • “Toolbox” page
  • Move from WordPress to Webflow, with lessons managed in the CMS

Stack

  • Webflow
  • Webflow CMS

Outcomes

  • Users praised the clarity of the new design.
  • Time spent on the site went up and the bounce rate went down.
  • The teacher publishes her new lessons herself, from the Webflow CMS.
