Context
Before paying hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars for a pre-owned luxury item, buyers want to know it is genuine. Counterfeits have never been this convincing, and buyers usually have to choose between a human expert and a piece of technology, rarely both. ilizy brings the two together, with no shipping and no appointment.
Approach
The flow takes four steps: describe the item using a photo guide made for it, pay per item, let the AI flag anomalies and a brand expert decide, then get the verdict. That verdict is never a plain “real or fake”: authentic, not authentic or inconclusive. Every certificate can be checked by its number or QR code without exposing the owner’s personal data.
